2018 में मेरी यात्रायें

वर्ष 2018 मेरे लिए बहुत सी यात्रायें ले कर आया। पूरे वर्ष खूब घूमने का अवसर मिला। अधिकतर यात्रायें Official  Trips थे, लेकिन इन यात्राओं में भी खूब घुमक्कड़ी हुई। साथ ही साथ बहुत सी नयी जगह भी जाना हुआ। कुल 40  यात्रायें हुईं, जिसमें 44 उड़ानों में यात्रा हुई और 30 बार रेल यात्रा भी हुई। 

इसके अलावा मेरे शहर दिल्ली में हुई घुमक्कड़ी अलग है।

फ्लेवर्स का धमाका: श्री अक्षयम रेस्टोरेंट, चेन्नई

  हाल ही में Official काम से बेंगलुरु और फिर वहां से चेन्नई जाना हुआ। 

दिल्ली से सीधा बेंगलुरु पहुंचा। यहाँ मेरा कार्यक्रम बहुत ही व्यस्त रहा और घुमक्कड़ी के लिए बिलकुल समय नहीं मिला। एक रात बेंगलुरु में होटल रैडिसन ब्लू Atria में रुका। होटल का विस्तृत रिव्यु पढ़ने के लिए यहाँ क्लिक करें। 

अगली शाम मैंने बेंगलुरु से चेन्नई की फ्लाइट पकड़ी और शाम लगभग 6 बजे चेन्नई पहुँच गया। एयरपोर्ट से टैक्सी ली और चल दिया होटल Radisson Chennai City Centre की ओर। यहाँ भी मेरी एक ही रात की बुकिंग थी। इस होटल का विस्तृत रिव्यु पढ़ने के लिए यहाँ क्लिक करें । 

एयरपोर्ट से निकलते ही तेज बारिश शुरू हो गयी। बारिश की वजह से चेन्नई में काफी ट्रैफिक हो गया था। जैसे तैसे होटल तक पहुंचे। बारिश ने रुकने का नाम ही नहीं लिया। मैंने प्लान किया था कि रात का खाना किसी साउथ इंडियन रेस्टोरेंट में होगा, लेकिन विवशता थी इसलिए होटल में ही डिनर किया। यानि अब तक के पूरे ट्रिप में एक बार भी परंपरागत दक्षिण भारतीय भोजन नहीं हुआ था। 

अगले दिन मेरी डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर के साथ मीटिंग थी। लंच टाइम पर डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर ने खाने के लिए मेरी चॉइस पूछी। बेहिचक मैंने उन्हें किसी ख़ास दक्षिण भारतीय रेस्टोरेंट में चलने के लिए कहा। डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर जी ने कुछ सेकंड सोचा और फिर बोला कि हम श्री अक्षयम रेस्टोरेंट में लंच करेंगे।

स्टेशन से होटल के लिए निकले। दोपहर के 2 बजने वाले थे और भूख जोरों पर थी। इसलिए होटल पहुँचने से पहले खाना खाने Four Seasons Restaurant पहुंचे।

यह रेस्टोरेंट C स्कीम में सुभाष मार्ग पर स्थित है। इस रेस्टोरेंट में हम अपनी पिछली जयपुर ट्रिप में भी आ चुके थे। तब यहाँ का खाना हम सबको बहुत पसंद आया था। इसलिए हम अपनी इस ट्रिप की शुरुआत इसी रेस्टोरेंट से करना चाहते थे । रेस्टोरेंट इतना लोकप्रिय है कि रात को यहाँ 20 - 30 मिनट की वेटिंग बहुत ही सामान्य है। 

हमने एक थाली और साथ में राजस्थानी गट्टे की सब्जी ऑर्डर की। खाना बहुत ही बढ़िया था। खास तौर पर गट्टे की सब्जी और मिस्सी रोटी कमाल थीं। रेस्टोरेंट थोड़ा महँगा है लेकिन खाना लाजवाब है।

My experience: ISCON Thali in Ahmedabad

 Gujarati food has immense variety in it. There are so many options for breakfast, lunch, snacks & dinner. Gujarat is also famous for the Thali restaurants. These restaurants serve only thali or platter meals & no Ala-carte is available there. These thalis are not the typical fixed meal meal pack, as available in many food joints in North India. But, thalis in Gujarat means one can eat as much as they want.

I had been to many Thali restaurants in Ahmedabad. Recently, I visited ISCON Thal, which is situated at a busy intersection at SG road. The restaurant is on the second floor of building. 

Hotel Review: Fortune Park, Ahmedabad

Hotel Fortune Park, an ITC group hotel, is located near Ellis bridge in Ahmedabad. It is one of the most popular 4 star hotels of the city. 

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night, during my recent visit to Ahmedabad.

The hotel is easily approachable from Ahmedabad Airport (30 - 40 minutes), Sabarmati Railway Station (30 minutes) & Ahmedabad Railway Station (15 - 20 minutes). 

Hotel lobby & restaurant had excellent ambience. The hotel has sufficient parking inside as well as on the road. The check-in as well as checkout was very fast.

Hotel Review: Radisson Blu, Jaipur

 Jaipur, the Pink City of India, is extremely popular among the tourists. A huge number of Indian as well as foreigner tourists visit Jaipur. Its proximity to Delhi also attracts lot of Delhites to visit the city at weekend.  Hence, no surprises, if Jaipur is flooded with various hotels across the city.

In our recent trip to Jaipur, we stayed at Hotel Radisson Blu. There are 2 hotels of Radisson group in Jaipur. The other hotel, which was previously known as Country Inn, is now branded as Hotel Radisson City Centre & is situated at busy MI Road. We chose hotel Radisson Blu as the tariff offered was better than the other hotel.

After my 1 night stay at Bengaluru, I had to visit Chennai. I took an evening 5 pm flight of Jet Airways from Bengaluru to Chennai. The flight was operated in ATR 72 aircraft.

I reached at Bengaluru airport by 3:45 pm. Check-in & Security check was completed very fast. I reached to the assigned gate & waited for the boarding to start. 

The boarding started at 4:15 pm. The passengers boarded a bus, which took us to our aircraft. We boarded the aircraft from rear gate. 

At 4:45 pm, the doors of aircraft were closed. We started for runway & the plane took off exactly at 5 pm. 

The flight was comfortable & despite of heavy clouds throughout the flight, we experienced minimal turbulence. We landed at 5:40 pm at Chennai Airport, which was much ahead of scheduled arrival of 6:15 pm.

After collecting my luggage from baggage belt, I came out of airport. Meanwhile, I had also booked an OLA for my hotel, Radisson Blu Chennai City Centre.

  घुमक्कड़ी भी एक लत है। यह समय के साथ बढ़ती ही जाती है। फिर ऐसा भी होता है कि आप इसे और लोगों में फ़ैलाने लगते हैं। 

दो साल पहले हम लोग अपनी देहरादून और ऋषिकेश की यात्रा पर गए। पूरा ट्रिप बहुत बढ़िया रहा। ख़ास तौर पर बच्चों ने बहुत एन्जॉय किया। इस साल हम एक छोटे से वीकेंड ट्रिप में चंडीगढ़ भी जा कर आये। 

हमारी ये दोनों ही यात्रायें अपनी गाड़ी से हुईं। अब बच्चों की अगली फरमाइश ट्रेन में सफर करने की थी। इस बीच उन को एक बार रेलवे स्टेशन भी ले जाना हुआ। मेरे मम्मी पापा अहमदाबाद जा रहे थे और मैं उनको नयी दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन छोड़ने गया। दोनों शैतान जिद कर हमारे साथ स्टेशन चले गए। अपने दादा दादी से पहले खुद ट्रेन में चढ़ कर बैठ गए और ट्रेन के रवाना होने के समय पर मुश्किल से नीचे उतरे। 

इसके बाद इनकी फरमाइश कुछ ज्यादा ही जोर पकड़ गयी। आखिर मौका देख हमने जयपुर का प्रोग्राम बना लिया।

Hotel Review : Radisson Blu Atria, Bengaluru

Bengaluru, the capital of the southern state of Karnataka, is a major IT hub in India. It is also known as Silicon Valley of India. The city is famous for various gardens, museums & Palace. 

I got an opportunity to visit Bengaluru recently, for my official trip. I chose to stay at Hotel Radisson Blu Atria, located on Palace Road.

My flight landed at Kempegowda Airport of Bengaluru at 11 am. The 2 hours 20 minutes flight from Delhi was very comfortable. This new airport of Bengaluru is vast & full of various facilities.
